Faith
This was taken back in Shanghai in 2008! Miss those times..
It’s really been a while I started to blog. Things have been so fast paced especially ever since I completed my National Service. Have been doing more in CG, the zone, started working, started going to SOT and of course giving birth to City Vibes as well. It has been a fantastic 6 months living and breathing out certain dreams that God has placed in my heart since I were a youth. I can still remember so vividly that it was when I was in army I would spend days and literally nights thinking about all these asking God to make a way for me and through me to serve and change my generation. Indeed even when i became faithless and my faith began to leaked, He remains faithful. I always thought City Vibes would only be able to come to past at least 3-4 years from now? But today I really want to thank God for all the grace and mercy that He has shown unto me as well. Really wanna thank everyone (Esp, My Dad and Mum, Pst MJ and a great friend like Gabriel) for constantly being such a great friend to me and of course my partner in crime Guang Xiang for taking this step of faith together with me. Without him perhaps it would have taken 3-4 more years or even more.
Indeed like what Pst Tan shared in SOT this week. I must learn how to abase and abound in Christ not to wearing my own watch but wearing His watch. To trust in Him that He is never too early nor late and He is always on time. That is what our faith or faith is all about.
Heb 11:1 ” Faith is a substance of things hope for, evidence of the things not seen!”
It’s only humanly natural that we often place our “confidence” and trust on the things we can see, but if we want to follow Him and please Him we gotta let go and let Him and take every single step and whatever we are doing for Him by faith!
Have a little faith guys! =) Our God is a good God and He’s delight is in the prosperity of His children/servants!

Sharing a part of my notes here, in Tumblr. ;)
The definition of hospitality : the liberal entertainment of Strangers/Guest.
How true it is? Sometimes we get so comfortable with the clique we have that we have neglected the strangers, or rather, those whom we don’t know.
Bringing it to world term, it’s just like working in a hotel as a front desk officer; to pay attention to the requests/needs etc.
How? Ps shared abt the 7 points of second mile of Hospitality:
1) Do Extra 2) do quicker 3) do earlier 4) do more 5) Do usual 6) do thoughtful 7) do better
Together, we can all play a part in hospitality!

Faithfulness
Wow.. What more can i say but this Asia Conference has een simply phenominal and awesome for me. I felt that i have begin to learn so much more and grow so much more in the Lord in this short period of time. I’m also really so thankful to God in the measures that he has used me to touch my generation and the people whom are around me, but i pray that He will not stop and that i can continue to be that donkey that will show forth the full glory of God! Thank God for His glory for I am nothing but only the one that the king of kings is riding on..
This is also the very last week that E149 will be spending together as one cell group and i am feeling just so emotional about it. Because this is the very first place that i first encounter God, encountered the love of the cell group and recieve all the visions and dreams that God has placed in my heart. Indeed over the last 5 years God has been so faithful, so extremely faithful that even when i was faithless He still remained faithful to me. I also wanted to thank Royston for everything that he has done for me. I may recieve praises for men for some of the things that God has done through me in my life but everything that is in me is actually imparted by this man that has chose to lay down his life for me. Like what P.K said, he was paitent with me, he was loving, he was present everytime for me when i needed him.. I will call him almost every other night, and even during my ns life just to pour out my heart to him and hear his godly counsel. I thank God for him for everything that he has placed in my life. Thank you so much Royston for everything you have done for me in my life and i know that i still have so much more to learn from you. Man.. Better keep some stuffs left at least for multiplication.. haha.

The Power Of Tithing, Pst Kong
And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORD’s. It is holy to the LORD. Leviticus 27:30
The principle of tithing is so important because it is the most basic Bible test of your faithfulness in stewardship. It also qualifies or disqualifies you from God’s wealth and abundance.
Tithing predates the Mosaic law because Abraham was a faithful tither long before the law was established on Mount Sinai. When he met Melchizedek, he “gave him a tithe of all” (Gen. 14:19-20). Abraham’s faithful stewardship resulted in him becoming the richest man of his generation.
Jacob was a tither. When he came to Bethel, he made a vow to the Lord, “Of all that You give me I will surely give a tenth to You” (Gen. 28:22). Jacob’s faithful stewardship also resulted in him becoming the richest man of his generation.
Abraham and Jacob prove that saints of God started tithing long before Moses gave the law. Tithing has to do with your heart and love for God. You tithe not because you have to, but because you want to.
